Hard to believe that the HS season is already 1/3 complete for some teams. Which teams are playing well, which teams need to find their game? Who are the teams and players we should get out and see?

I think Mahtomedi is the best team in state whether A or AA.
They have the one player who seems to make everyone around her better.
This is a quality that is hard to find even among other top players who excel in a few phases of the game.
If you haven't had the chance get out and watch Mahtomedi and Tippy Jordan.
She's the best player I've observed so far this season and I think is leading candidate for Ms. Soccer.
Selfish and whiner are not two words that I would use to describe Ms. Soccer.
Sorry but I haven't caught the selfish whiner act.
All I've seen is a strong leader on the field that works hard on offense and defense as the team continues to win every game.
Not to take anything away from Tippy's playing ability, but I would suggest that Tory Schiltgen is the player that makes her teammates better at Mahtomedi. They're both good, I just feel that Tory is more complete as a soccer player. Also, Josie Solie (their center back) is probably one of the best 1 on 1 backs in the state and had a significant hand in keeping Woodbury and EP at bay in the Challenge Cup. They're all quality players.
I have watched Tippy play over the years. When she is motivated, she dominates. When she is not, she is just above average. That said, at this point she probable deserves Ms. Soccer.
