Abdus Ibrahim Update

Updates on Abdus Ibrahim from a recent US National Team U17 game. Ibrahim is with MLS' Dallas FC, and a former Richfield HS and Wings SC player. It will be interesting to see if he ends up getting any minutes in the MLS. He is currently listed as a developmental player on the Dallas FC roster.

Thank you MN Futbol for this Blog. Certainly the demands of this project overwhelm the rewards. Perhaps it is time for us to honor the blog with a proper Viking's funeral, see "Beau Geste." It has been an honorable contributor to the MN soccer world.

Does anyone know what the "developmental" status means in the MLS? Is he still technically able to play in the amateur youth leagues?

He no longer has amateur status as he has professional contract and an agent.

Also on a side note he has told some of his buddies in school that he is not really 15, he is 17-18, not that his age should deter him as he is a skillful player, but not as young as eveybody thinks he is.
