More speculation that David Beckham could make a move to the MLS before the start of the 2007 campaign. Other stories floating around about Freddie Adu moving to Manchester United.

Futbol in the US would certainly get a positive boost from one or both of these occurrences. Adu will have the opportunity to raise his game, in the world’s top league, developed by Ferguson who is one of the top coaches in the world. Adu getting to the next level of his game quickly could help the US in the 2010 World Cup.
Beckham in Los Angeles or New York would bring some added attention, attendance and lead the way for more top European players to migrate West across the pond. Should the MLS find a way to attract and pay top European players, in the early-twilight of their careers, it will raise the level of play and benefit US players. Fans will welcome both.

I have seen an improvement in the speed of play in MLS in thelast two years.
I do watch quite a bit of European soccer. I do not think the US game has caught up with that level. I was just remarking on what I have noticed in MLS. It is improving. At this point in his career, DB would probably fit right in.
IS THIS BLOG NOW DEAD!!!
Sounds like Becks will be playing for LA Galaxy.
